Purple Rain Arts

Purple Rain Arts is a community minded art space set up with the idea to introduce kids (and older kids) to studio based art practice. The activities are process based and encourage creativity through play centred learning. The aim is to build a set of skills to engage with Contemporary art and ideas within an everyday framework.

Purple Rain Arts holds after school classes in drawing, sculpting, painting, photography and much more. Classes are taken by a practicing artist in small groups. The kids love the stimulation and the friendly art club environment. They make new friends, get inspired, problem solve together and encourage each other's creativity. There are also classes for older kids, and the opportunity for workshops and folio development.
