2017 Mentoring Scholarship for women visual artists

An art education does not end with exiting an educational institution. It is merely the beginning.This mentoring scholarship provides the structure to assist you continue to investigate and develop your own art practice into something that sustains you and itself for your whole life.

The Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance announces the 2017 Mentoring Scholarship for women visual artists withMargaret Ellen Turner. The mentorship program supports participants to develop new ideas, to expand their practice beyond purely technical skills, and to reflect on and self-critique work. Successful applicants will be stimulated and challenged and they will be supported to develop the discipline that underpins a life long practice as a visual artist.
