Sue Davis is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at CQUniversity Noosa and has particular experience and expertise in arts education, drama and digital technologies, narrative and script-writing. Sue was previously a drama teacher and performing arts Head of Department (including a couple of years at Noosa District SHS in the 90s) and has created many drama/theatre projects in collaboration with various partners such as Contact Youth Theatre, Brisbane Powerhouse, QPAC, Sydney Theatre Company and Patch Theatre. Locally she has been involved in the creative scene through many ways, mostly through her work with the Creative Alliance (being a foundation member) and organizing Pecha Kucha Night. She was also Chair of Noosa Biosphere Ltd from 2011-2014 and Noosa Biosphere Culture Board. Sue has been involved in many other regional projects such as the NeoGeography creative place-making project, Floating Land, Treeline, the Noosa Longweekend and most recently through initiating the ‘Arts After Hours’ workshops at CQU Noosa. She is the current Convenor of the Arts Education Research SIG of the Australian Association for Research in Education (AARE) and a Board member for the organization for drama educators, Drama Australia.
