Art on Cairncross presents "Rust & Lace", an exhibition of wall-hanging assemblages by Nathalie Bastier. Predominantly pieces of rusted metal are combined and contrasted with delicate lace or other old items to create artworks of social commentary, balance and new beauty. There is humour and much to discover in each work.
27 Singer-Songwriters contributed Songs from around the world for Sing for Change. Some of those artists are going to perform at the Artisan Market in Maleny in a fundraiser for the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre.
The Creative Alliance is offering 20 lucky punters tickets to attend this popular event. Expressions of interest (EOI) are now open for musicians and those in the music industry, aged 15 – 25 years.
